How we Serve with Chiropractic Services!

Dr. Marilyn has been a Chiropractor for over 30 years now. Being a nurse in several New York City teaching hospitals before that, she has learned that medicine is for the diagnosis of disease, and the treatment is most often drugs or surgery.

Chiropractic is not about fixing symptoms, but about getting to the root cause of why the body is not functioning properly.  Chiropractic is all about the communication between the brain and body.  Since your brain controls all function, if there is any interference to the flow of nerve energy to the organs, tissues or cells, symptoms and disease will eventually emerge.  Nerve interference is usually caused by vertebra in the spine pressing on nerves.  We call a vertebra out of alignment blocking vital nerve flow a Subluxation. Subluxations can be there for years, even from birth, and can only be detected by a Chiropractor.

Thus, our purpose is to detect and correct Subluxations, so that there is 100% communication between the brain and body, which allows the body to heal naturally from the inside/out.

When you arrive, a thorough history will be taken, to assess when and how these Subluxations may have occurred.  Physical, emotional and chemical traumas, including birth trauma can be the cause of Subluxations.

We also offer state of the art digital X-ray to detect Subluxations, and see the effects of Subluxations over the years.

Non invasive Thermography is performed to assess nerve interference.

And most importantly, 30 years of experience, has allowed Dr. Marilyn to detect, feeling the motion of each vertebra of the spine, where there is dysfunction and nerve interference.  This allows her to know exactly where the specific adjustment needs to be performed. Adjustments are gentle, and she has adjusted thousands of people from birth to the elderly.

Dr. Marilyn is certified in the Webster technique. This is further explain under the Pregnancy header.

We also give weekly workshops for you and your family to completely understand your care, how you will benefit from it and how you can be more proactive, so that you can get the best results possible.
